Is there one smell or flavor that just makes you incredibly happy inside no matter what is going on around you? For me it’s the smell and taste of a spicy sweet chai tea. While most of the day I’m drinking my weight in coffee to keep up with my crazy life, some times I need a sweet escape. I need to slow down, put on my slippers, take a deep breath, and enjoy the aroma and flavor of black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and vanilla.
I know I’m not alone in my love for chai tea. In fact, TAZO® has partnered with fellow chai-lover Padma Lakshmi to celebrate the history and flavors of chai and the release of the TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods. Steeped in 5,000 years of Indian history, chai and tea has always been a part of Padma Lakshmi’s life and family heritage. As part of this partnership, Padma has created some amazing recipes that pair perfectly with a hot chai latte. Find them here.
Guess what! You don’t need any fancy tools to make a delicious spicy sweet chai latte at home. All you need is a Keurig® machine, and a box of TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods. It’s a 2-step process – well, three if you count the stirring – but it’s as easy as can be. At the end of the day I don’t have much energy left, so I need simple satisfaction.
It’s pretty self explanatory, I think. Step one, pour the dairy blend into a clean, dry mug.
Step two, place the K-Cup® pod in your Keurig® machine and brew right into the dairy blend.
Step three, stir, sip, and enjoy.
Since you can’t smell this amazingness through the computer screen, you’ll just have to try it for yourself. To find where you can buy your own TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods, click here.
